Africa 2018
In 2017, the travel bug bit, and ever since I have been abroad as much as possible. I fulfilled my dream and drove my car across the country, twice! On the first trip with my daughter, Hedda along, we discovered South Dakota with its mysterious Black Hills and regal bison. I stayed for a week in Montana and hiked in Canada and back into the US along the shore of Waterton Lake. We swam in the Pacific!
I spent a week in Nova Scotia, we rented a car and went literally all over, We walked the bed of the Bay of Fundy at low tide.
International travel has taken me farther afield with an epic trip to South Africa, Botswana, and Namibia. I spent a glorious week in Italy largely in Tuscany on a hazelnut orchard. I traveled to the Middle East in 2019 with a group of adventurers. We started in the United Arab Emirates and then off to Armenia, Georgia, Khazakstan, and Uzbekistan. I have made invaluable contacts with folks on the ground in these far-flung locales and I am eager to bring my skill, savvy, and passport to bear in making your project shine.
